BlairBush.net Dead at 7 Years Old!

What a symbolic loss, the ending of my band website. Most any Joe or Flo out there has an artistic outlet, and, while each have their own level of dificulty in maintaining, any creative pursuit that depends on others is subject to a higher chance of termination than one pursued on your lonesome, ya dig? It's way easier to sit here and write on my own than it is to get together with 2 or 3 other folks to simmer and marinate our shared inspirational juices. So, when it came time to ante up the host fees today, I realized I hadn't played with anyone in months, and with my upcoming wedding, my increasingly busy work schedule, and - well, life - I wasn't actively making music. So I guess it's official, and I freely admit here, for the first time: "I, Blair Bush, admit that I will not be a hugely successful rock star." Tough to cop to at the tender age of 36, admittedly, especially when I - like all of us who have ever recorded music - feel that my tunes are better than a lot on the radio, but my god, how awful is popular music right now? Anyway, just wanted to thank anyone who ever saw the site thanks, and I wanted to thank Tomas at Ripe for making a kickass website for a drunk long-hair who moved in next to him for awhile. It's still up as of this moment, so if you want to say goodbye, now's the time. Adios, digital repository for BlairBush music...we barely knew ye.
